A glazed link unites the original property with a large extension finished in black zinc and contemporary glazing, while the interior design reflects the owners’ love of Scandinavian architecture.

The character of the stone cottage is celebrated by maintaining the traditional roof and sash windows. And, in using a two-storey mezzanine in the extension, a connection is established between the spaces and a full-height glazed gable end drenches the home in light and spectacular views.
