Multiple extensions to Victorian mid-terrace
Overview
The need for more space led to a ground floor and attic extension on Marshall Road.
With the strongly established style that comes with a Victorian property, the extensions to Marshall Road needed to be compatible with the original home.
The solution was a ground floor, frameless glass extension that floods the kitchen and dining space with light. Additionally, black metal internal screens ensure this bright aspect continues throughout the rest of the home.
Bespoke joinery in the kitchen and the bedroom allows the owners to establish their own taste, while the ceiling details in the bedroom encapsulate the history of the building. The attic dormer extension to the rear boasts a contemporary feel with an exposed internal structure.
